Back In Time For The Fall

Wow, two post in a matter as many days. Anyhow, I've been tweaking with some of the looping tracks from Acid 4.0 and have two in mind for sure. Pug 1.0 (audio pup) and Drawn Out Self Doubt so I have been half-assed busy in that respect. I'm tempted to do something stupid, but I won't.

Sumthin'

Back for the attack. I like this format much better than the other one. So I may stick around, especially seeing that I now have a lap-top with beautiful Wi-Fi connection. It's just as good as DSL or cable, it's very nice. So here I am, girlfriendless and kind of directionless, though that's fine. That tends to happen on more than occasion. I've started on a couple of projects. Cat Boxing is my pet project at the moment. This is more of a very simple music project, it's more of a back drop for some of more of my art projects. The music portion will be looked upon (by myself anyhow) as a collective. The music is pretty much it's own beast, and I just piece it together by way of Sony's Acid 4.0. A music software program that everyone had agreed to being one of the best on the market. Here's a link.

At this moment, I am listening to the democratic convention speeches that iTunes is offering for free. So far, I have day one and day two, they haven't put up day three yet. I feel good about the future of the country... for the first time in almost four years, I feel good for America.

It's Much Better Than I Thought

Well, a nice pretty mellow couple of days. I may get that transfer after all (to the Starbucks closer to my house) I befriended a cute jewish girl at a record store, found an awesome pair of sunglasses (finally) and for less them twenty; I was almost willing to spend up to 90 dollars for a pair. I also found an awesome Palace Brothers T-Shirt, it's the american flag shaped like a camara... how fucking rad is that. (sigh) I may however relent and end this blogger blog and move on to the greener pastures of LiveJournal. If so, I'll definitly END this jounral with a link. Aside from all of that, that's it. Work was much better yesterday and I have the next two days off... be back later.

Beat Down

Oh man! I am ever burnt out. It has been a crazy few days at work. I rarely had time to sleep. I did clear the air with Suzy, and so we're cool As other things go, I'm not so sure. I'm just board, though that's what usually happends this time of year for me. It's just more so today had I noticed. I always seem to fault myself more than normal. I do like the fact that I have a busy job, it leaves me less time to think about my issues. Anyhow, I need to get over it... that's all really.

Anthony Vera Vs. Nothing

Well, here I am, alone on a Saturday watching COPS and typing this out online. Oh well, it's been somewhat of the crazy week. I only wish I ran into Windy (how her name is spelled) earlier in the week. I feel so drained from eeverything that has happened in the past week. Though I can honestly say that my break-up with Suzy has been for the best. If anything else, I catch myself thinking of another ex-girlfriend who no longer lives in town... oh well. Earlier this past afternoon, I was watching Penn and Teller's Bullshit. I love this show. it's about P & T debunking various frauds and general ...well, bullshiters. It's a show on Showtime, though you can pick it up on DVD (click on that link) I must say that I just saw a commercial for The Swan, and that just annoys the shit out of me. As far as Suzy is concerned, I hope she is happy, or at least is happy soon. She truely can be with anyone that she wants to be with. There are tons of guys who would like to spend all their free time with someone. Unfortunately, that person wasn't me. Speaking of girls, I had a nice long conversation with Laura recently. At first, there were things that concerned me, though now I'm much more comfortable. Well, here I am, with nothing interesting to say, other than what I had just said. I'll say more when I have to say it.

So Far... Good

Well, day one of being single for the past 8 months and I'm feeling fine. Anywho, I finally picked up Gang Tapes. I absolutely love this movie. It's done in a some what documentry style (Think Blair Witch Vs. Menace II Society. It start off with this family who while sight seeing get lost in the 'hood, get carjacked by some "bangers". One of those lil' thugs gets ahold of the family camcorder and starts filming the explots of his coming of age (the tag line to this movie was A Coming Of Rage Story) It really is a great film, and despite my descirption, it is very much an original film. I also picked up the Desperado/El Mariachi collection. I needn't have to explain these films... they are the shit yo. Okay... that is enough for now - nite!
